Snuggled in blankets & listening to the rain, my favourite kind of days. I woke up with the anticipation of checking the Coachella 2010 lineup and after scoping it out... it left me disappointed. I guess it'll do, seeing as I am attending Fri & Sat - She & Him, Passion Pit, Edward Sharpe, Hot Chip, GIRLS, The Dead Weather, The xx, & Dirty Projectors. So it's a
win win situation for moi. Anybody else attending? xo

And when I persist on eating, I spread nutella on everything (leaving my cravings intensely satisfied.)

Rebel Rebel

As of late... I've been wearing one too many boyfriend blazers, studded loafers, and feathers. Lets not forget the painted lips. Who better to relate to than Sheila Marquez. In addition to Bowie on repeat for days, Ziggy Stardust and Soul Love is magically stimulating to the ears. Which led me to ripping up a basic tee and splashing a coat with his famous lyrics. It's gotten many compliments thus far. All I need is a lightning bolt running through my face to get in character.

Paint It Black

I'm not gonna lie, 90% of my daily wardrobe is black, black, and black. Some say it's too much; but it's the classiest look in the book, goes perfect with anything, and works for both day & night ensembles. Which leads me to A. Wang's Fall 2010 collection - simplicity at its best. Tailored trousers, layers, and booties never looked so good. I recon that the model above could use a better hair-do but Wang's signature shag is just about as messy. On another note, I've managed to get through this whole week with the help of the local starbucks crew, those caramel creme brulee latte's do help keep the mind awake.
Sleep deprivation comes with side effects; the inability to shop after a 12 hr day.

Bones

Get hot, get too close to the flame. Wild, open space. Talk like an open book, Sign me up. Got no time to take a picture, I'll remember someday all the chances we took. We're so close to something better left unknown. I can feel it in my bones. Gimme sympathy. After all of this is gone, who'd you rather be? The Beatles or the Rolling Stones? Oh, seriously. You're gonna make mistakes, you're young. Come on, baby, play me something like, "Here Comes the Sun." Don't go, stay with the all-unknown. Stay away from the hooks. All the chances we took. We're so close to something better left unknown.

Iggy Pops Leather Pants

Bonjour everyone! When I'm not out & about or at school, I scope out refinery29 daily for all the fads & fashion gossip. A couple of days ago, I came across a post on IT GIRL Becka Diamond. What caught my eye was the phrase Iggy Pops Leather Pants... raw and straight up. Even her refrigerator has double duty as an inspiration board. The bitch is badass.

Space Oddity

Alice + Olivia's NYE Lookbook is near the edge of drooling, having left my mouth dry. I love each piece & must say, I'm committed to all. The Loeffler Randall booties are the exception. Oh if there we're a Santa... Those would be 1st on my wish list. Speaking of, the holiday season is much appreciated for what it's consist of so far; birthday month, gingerbread lattes, casual outings, themed parties, layered clothing, westho shows left & right, family time, constantly shopping, and bombarded with school. Lo and behold, I graduate in December and will be receiving my associates. A great way to end this year.
